Hi I’m Mariella :) I’m the person behind the recipes, research, and stories you can find here at ‘a better bento’.
A little backstory:
I was diagnosed with insulin resistance at 24 years old. Ever since then, I’ve dedicated my social media videos to sharing my journey through recipes & tips to make nutrition realistic and accessible.
Because of my background in chemistry, I only use science-based research articles to base my nutrition tips and advice on. I break the research down and give you an easy-to-understand summary of what you actually need to know.
‘a better bento’ is where I share every single piece of information I learn and all the recipes I make in a digestible way so you can implement or recreate them at home :P
